Perfect Crispy Chicken in Air Fryer



-Water 4 cups (enough to dip chicken pieces)

-Namak (Salt) 1 tbs

-Sugar 2 tbs

-Sirka (Vinegar) 2 tbs

-Hari mirch (Green chilli) paste 1 tbs

-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 & ½ tbs

-Chicken pieces (small to medium size) 6-8 (1kg)

-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 2 Cups

-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or as to taste

-Oregano powder 1 tsp

-Mustard powder 2 tbs

-Baking powder ½ tsp

-Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) ½ tbs

-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste

-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp

-Baking soda ½ tsp

-Water 1 Cup

-Hot sauce ¼ Cup

-Anday (Eggs) whisked 3

-Non-stick spray


-In a bowl,add water,salt,sugar,vinegar,green chilli paste,ginger garlic paste & mix well.

-Add chicken pieces,mix well & marinate for 4 hours to overnight in refrigerator.

-In a bowl,add all-purpose flour,red chilli powder,oregano powder,mustard powder,baking powder, garlic powder,salt, black pepper powder, baking soda & mix well.

-In another bowl, add water, hot sauce, eggs & whisk well.

-Now takeout chicken pieces from marination & coat well with dry flour mixture.

-Now dip in eggs mixture & again coat well with dry flour mixture & shake off lightly to create the flakes.

-Spray the chicken pieces with non-stick oil spray on all sides.

-Preheat air fryer at 180C for 3 minutes.

-Place chicken pieces in the basket of the air fryer and air fry at 180C for 25-30 minutes.

-Serve crispy air fried chicken with sauce & salad.
